PharmaMind Pro (“the App”) is developed by Dr D C Sundaravelan (VELANS), Coimbatore, India
(“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the App collects, why, and your choices.
By using the App you agree to this policy.
Educational / reference tool. PharmaMind Pro is an educational and
reference tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide patient-specific medical advice.
Do not enter any patient name, identifier, or other personal health information into the App.
How to request data deletion
PharmaMind Pro (developed by Dr D C Sundaravelan, VELANS) holds very little data and
no personal account profile (there is no login).
Include the Google Play order ID of your subscription
(Play Store → Account → Purchase history) so we can locate the associated record.
We process the request and confirm by email within 30 days.
What is deleted: the subscription-entitlement record associated with your purchase.
Search queries are not stored against your identity (any cache is transient and
auto-expires), so there is no personal query history to delete.
What is kept: minimal transaction records we are legally required to retain
(e.g. for tax/accounting) and aggregate, non-identifying technical logs.
To stop billing, cancel anytime in Google Play > Subscriptions.
1. What we collect
We designed the App to collect as little as possible.
Account: None required. Your access is tied to your Google Play subscription; we do
not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the App.
Search and query content: The drug names, disease names, and questions you submit are
sent securely to our service to generate results. Do not include personal or patient-identifying
information in your queries.
Subscription / purchase data: When you subscribe, Google Play processes the payment.
We receive a purchase token and subscription status from Google to confirm your access. We do
not receive or store your card or bank details.
Technical data: Standard, non-identifying technical information (e.g. request timing,
error logs) needed to operate and secure the service.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, health records, or advertising
identifiers, and we do not sell your data.
2. How we use it
To provide the App’s lookups, explanations, monographs, and AI responses.
To verify and manage your subscription entitlement.
To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
3. Third-party services (processors)
Google Play Billing (Google) — processes payments and manages subscriptions.
AI model provider — the AI assistant / monograph feature sends your (non-patient)
query text to a third-party large-language-model provider to generate an educational response.
Do not submit personal or patient data.
Hosting / CDN and our own server (velansai.in) — deliver and secure the service.
These providers process data only to perform their function for us (as service providers),
not for their own purposes.
4. Data retention
Query content may be cached briefly to improve speed and consistency; it is not linked to your identity.
Subscription status is retained while your subscription is active and as required for records. We retain
data no longer than necessary for the purposes above.
5. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We apply reasonable technical and
organisational measures to protect the service.
6. Your rights & choices
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Google Play > Subscriptions.
Since we hold no personal account data, there is no personal profile to delete; to request deletion of
any data associated with your subscription, or to ask a question, contact us at
advisory@velansai.in.
We comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
7. Children
The App is intended for students and professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change and material changes will be
noted in the App or listing.
